Michael A. DiCarlo Race for Hope 2012
However, it was clear we did not start fundraising early enough.
Although we made a very nice donation to the NBTS (almost 5k), our team was in a lot of debt at the end between our expenses and personal donations.
This year we are selling the MAD shirts, magnet and postage that we designed last year for the race to get an early start on fund raising.
All proceeds will go to help sponsor the 2012 Race for Hope Team and the National Brian Tumor Society

Dear Susan,
I have been a faithful GPYP reader for several years now and in reading your words on this blog I am honoured and privileged that you have shared this with me. Your description of the good and bad moments with Micheal made me think of the move The Notebook. Tears came to my eyes as I read your chronicle of Micheal’s illness. The good moments are all the more precious for being so fleeting. Do you write letters to Micheal as well? You advise GPYP readers to write letters we don’t need to send. I am in no position to give advice, nor do I wish to; there is nothing you do not already know when it comes to grief. Your blog has made such a difference in my life that you have become someone very important to me, a silent mentor and role model. I therefore feel your pain almost as if it were my own and I know that I am not alone in this sentiment. I know that you will treasure and record your memories as you need to ; I know that you will hold on to the light and to hope even if that means embracing the darkness of loss. As you traverse this journey

I want you to know that you are not alone and that many many people are praying for you and supporting you.
